Plan To Thrive is gearing up for the New Year with some changes we’re excited to share with you.

We welcome Laura Gilmartin, who will come on board as co-convenor of the PTT blog. Laura brings her experience and insight as a trade unionist and development professional to her contributions. We can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.

We also give a warm welcome to Suse Scholem, who will be coordinating the Plan To Thrive calendar and setting up a series of exciting workshops in 2017. Suse is an activist and artist involved in various projects that aim to build personal, social and cultural transformation. We’re thrilled to be working with her.

Holly Hammond will continue as co-convenor of PTT alongside her fantastic work convening Plan To Win. She’ll also be taking the lead on an Activist Wellbeing Retreat in March, drawing on what she learnt on her research trip earlier this year.

We send sweet appreciations to Helen Cox who has stepped back from Plan to Thrive to focus on restorative justice and sexual abuse prevention education in Aotearoa New Zealand. Helen was a crucial catalyst for PTT and made an amazing contribution collating the findings of our burnout survey. Helen welcomes contact with people keen to explore activist health and wellbeing in Aotearoa.

For more information about the crew check out the People page.

Would you like to be part of our excellent plans to thrive in 2017? We’re on the lookout for writers (articles, tips, personal stories, interviews, book reviews and more are welcome), artists (this blog needs some more creativity!), event volunteers (pencil in the first Sunday afternoon of each month in Melbourne), and champions for activist health and wellbeing in organisations, communities, and movements all over.

If you would like to get involved, please get in touch with us via the Contact page.
